Kumari Bank to accept UnionPay cards at ATMs & POS terminals

KATHMANDU: Kumari Bank Limited has announced that its ATMs and POS (Point of Sale) terminals will now accept UnionPay International (UPI) cards.
In an effort to promote digital payment systems and offer a more convenient, secure, and modern banking experience, the bank has made this facility available across all its ATMs and POS terminals in Nepal.
With this service, UPI cardholders can easily withdraw cash from Kumari Bank ATMs and make purchases through POS terminals.
The bank believes this will also benefit merchants by facilitating smoother transactions. Kumari Bank has expressed its commitment to expanding its services and contributing to the Digital Nepal initiative.
Currently, Kumari Bank operates 302 branches, 315 ATMs, 50 extension counters, and 54 branchless banking units nationwide, providing secure, modern, and efficient services to its customers.
