Artist Hikmat Mahar dies in motorcycle accident in Kailali

KATHMANDU: Renowned artist Hikmat Mahar has passed away in a motorcycle accident in Godawari, Kailali.

Mahar, who gained fame as a participant in Comedy Champion Season 2, tragically lost his life in the crash.

On Tuesday evening, Mahar was riding his motorcycle, registration number M 2 P 9117, when it met with an accident near the Godawari Temple road.

He was immediately rushed to Seti Provincial Hospital in Dhangadhi, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

Mahar was a permanent resident of Shuklafata Municipality-1 in Kanchanpur, but he was currently residing in Godawari-4.
