Snowfall hits high altitude areas of Darchula

KATHMANDU: Since Sunday, snowfall has occurred in various areas of Darchula district, particularly in its high-altitude and Himalayan regions, following a weather change.

Snowfall was reported in the Apihimal and Byas Municipalities, causing a drop in temperature across the district.

The cold weather, intensified by the snowfall, has affected the daily life in the Apihimal region, according to local resident Kamala Bohara.

Additionally, light rain has been reported in different parts of the district.
