Divers deployed in search for missing duo after gas tanker crash in Dhading
Following the crash, both the driver and co-driver went missing.

KATHMANDU: A team of divers and armed police has been deployed to search for the driver and co-driver missing after an Indian gas bullet tanker accident at Krishnabhir, Dhading.
The tanker, bearing registration number NL-02 L-3907, was en route from Chitwan to Kathmandu when it met with an accident on Sunday along the Prithvi Highway in Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality-7.
Following the crash, both the driver and co-driver went missing.
According to DSP Shailendra Thapa, the Armed Police Force’s Disaster Management Training School in Kurintar and the Disaster Management Base in Adamghat dispatched a rescue team led by Armed Police Deputy Superintendent Ashwin Kumar Gurung.
The District Traffic Police Office, Gajuri, reported that rescue operations are ongoing, but no injured individuals have been found. Parts of the vehicle remain stuck on the cliff after falling off the road.
Authorities have advised residents near the crash site to remain cautious.
In case of gas leakage, locals are urged to immediately contact the police at 100, stated Inspector Suraj Shrestha of the Gajuri Traffic Police Office.
