Singer Smita Dahal ties the knot with Sayujya Shrestha
Smita is the granddaughter of Pushpa Kamal Dahal, the Chair of the CPN (Maoist Centre).
KATHMANDU: Singer Smita Dahal tied the knot with her long-time partner Sayujya Shrestha on Friday at the Nurling Resort in Gokarna, Kathmandu. The couple had been close since their college days.
Smita is the granddaughter of Pushpa Kamal Dahal, the Chair of the CPN (Maoist Centre).
The ceremony was attended by prominent figures including Madhav Kumar Nepal, the Chair of the CPN (Unified Socialist), and Janardan Sharma, the deputy general secretary of the Maoist Centre.
In addition, well-known actors like Hari Bansha Acharya, Kiran KC, Jitu Nepal, Shiva Shrestha, and Sandip Chhetri also attended to congratulate and offer their best wishes to Smita and Sayujya.
Smita is famous for singing popular songs such as “Mayalu Timi Kata Chhau” and “Kallai Tha Chaina”.
