Pedestrian killed in Chitwan road accident

KATHMANDU: A 27-year-old pedestrian, Binda Bhujel, from Shivalayatole, Ward No. 2, Ratnanagar Municipality, lost her life in a road accident last night.

She was struck by a truck, bearing registration number BR 06 GC 1319, at Bhanu Chowk, Ward No. 10, Ratnanagar Municipality.

Bhujel sustained severe injuries in the collision and was rushed to Bharatpur Government Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries during treatment.

The truck driver has been apprehended by the police for further investigation.
