Gruesome murder of woman in Dhanusha: Body found decapitated, head in canal

KATHMANDU: A gruesome murder of a woman has occurred in Dhanusha. Forty-year-old Rampari Dev Thakur of Murbiba Tole, Bideha Municipality-5, was found dead.
Her decapitated body was discovered in a field, approximately 1.5 kilometers from her home.
Meanwhile, her head was found in the Kamala River canal.
The body was found naked, and blood was found about 100 meters away from where the body and head were located.
The woman’s husband has been working abroad for a long time.
According to her youngest son, Rampari left home Tuesday afternoon to cut grass but failed to return by evening.
A search was initiated soon after.
Police have arrested three individuals in connection with the crime.
According to Dhanusha’s Superintendent of Police, Bhuvaneshwar Tiwari, one suspect is currently in custody while investigations are ongoing.
