Two killed in Bolero jeep accident on mid-hill highway in Jajarkot
Both victims, aged 24 and 23, were employed on the Mid-Hill Highway.
KATHMANDU: Two people died in a Bolero jeep accident on the Mid-Hill Highway in Nuwagaun, Bheri Municipality-10, Jajarkot.
The Bolero (State 3-01-023 Cha 4719) was traveling from Kakigaun to Kudu when it crashed around 8 PM on Wednesday.
Both victims, aged 24 and 23, were employed on the Mid-Hill Highway.
According to Police Inspector Hariram Dang of the District Police Office, the victims have been identified as 24-year-old Manoj KC from Kailali and 23-year-old Mithun Hamal from Jumla.
Both were seriously injured and taken to the District Hospital in Jajarkot, where they were declared dead by the medical staff.
The two deceased were working at Syauli Bazaar, Bheri Municipality-7.
The jeep fell about 700 feet from the road, the police reported.
A third individual, 23-year-old Kamal Chaudhary, was seriously injured and, after receiving basic treatment at the District Hospital, was transferred to Nepalgunj Medical College.
