Maoist Centre donates 5 lakh for flood victims
The Europe and Australia branches of the committee handed over the check of this amount to party president Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ today.
KATHMANDU: The Inter-Continental Organization Committee under the CPN (Maoist Centre) has provided financial assistance of five lakh rupees to the victims of floods and landslides.
The Europe and Australia branches of the committee handed over the check of this amount to party president Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ today.
The check was presented by TB Pathak, Chief Secretary of the Migrant Province Office, Dolraj Bhandari, Treasurer of the Progressive People’s Forum Europe, and Deepak Pandey, President of the Progressive People’s Forum Australia.
Receiving the check, President Dahal stated that his party has taken all possible initiatives in the aftermath of the disaster for rescue, relief, and rehabilitation efforts.
President Dahal also emphasized the importance of organizing the millions of youths living abroad and creating an environment for them to return and contribute to the country’s development.
He urged the party’s migrant committee to work towards this goal.
