Lumbini Lions post 192 runs against Biratnagar Kings

KATHMANDU: In the second match of the day, Lumbini Lions set a challenging target of 192 runs for Biratnagar Kings in the ongoing Siddhartha Bank Nepal Premier League (NPL).
Batting first after losing the toss at the TU Cricket Ground, Lumbini posted a formidable total of 191/7 in their allotted 20 overs.
Lumbini’s captain, Rohit Poudel, top-scored with 46 runs off 29 balls, hitting 4 fours and 2 sixes. He was dismissed while attempting a big shot, caught at the boundary by Pratis GC off Rajesh Pulami Magar’s bowling.
Tom Moores contributed 30 runs from 17 balls, including 3 fours and 3 sixes, before being run out while attempting a second run.
The opening wicket of Ashutosh Ghiraiya fell for 15 runs off 13 balls, with 2 fours and 1 six. He was run out after a mix-up with his partner.
Arjun Saud added 17 runs off 19 balls, but was bowled out by Ismat Alam.
Sandeep Jora contributed 12 runs off 13 balls, while Saad Bin Jafar scored 15 runs off 13 balls before being caught by Martin Guptill off Sandeep Lamichhane’s bowling. Just two balls later, Ben Cutting was run out by Ismat Alam off Sandeep’s delivery.
