One held for raping teen girl

KATHMANDU: Police arrested 21-year-old Samrat Chudara, a resident of Purkotdaha, Madane Rural Municipality-6, Gulmi, on Tuesday evening on charges of raping a 16-year-old girl.

Police deployed from the District Police Office, Palpa, arrested him based on a complaint that Samrat had raped the girl on Monday afternoon at Kharbari in Rainadevi Chhahara Rural Municipality-6.

The police are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
