Qatar Airways suspends flights from Bhairahawa

KATHMANDU: Qatar Airways has suspended flights from Bhairahawa starting from Nov 30.

The airline had commenced operations from Gautam Buddha International Airport on Nov 12, but will halt the Bhairahawa flights from Nov 30.

According to Gyanendra Bhul, Information Officer at the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, Qatar Airways had obtained flight authorization for Bhairahawa Airport until Nov 30, and has not renewed it. “The flight permission for Qatar Airways was valid until Nov 30, but it has not been renewed after that,” Bhul said.

Currently, Qatar Airways continues to operate two daily flights from Kathmandu.
