KATHMANDU: Kajaria brand tiles are now being produced in Nepal with the establishment of a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Nawalparasi, created through a joint investment by Nepal’s leading commercial and industrial group, Ramesh Corp, and India’s Kajaria Ceramics Limited.
Kajaria Ramesh Tiles Limited began production in 2079, setting a benchmark for international-level manufacturing in Nepal.
Currently, Kajaria produces 600×600 mm and 600×1200 mm glazed vitrified tiles, along with 400×400 mm heavy-duty vitrified tiles, and these are already available in the market.
The company is also planning to introduce 300×600 mm and 300×450 mm ceramics tiles to the Nepali market soon.
With a distribution network of over 100 distributors and dealers across Nepal, Kajaria Tiles has an ambitious strategy to expand its market presence further.
Despite being locally produced, the tiles maintain their high quality and are 20–25% cheaper than tiles imported from India, thanks to reduced production costs.
