KATHMANDU: In the third match of the Siddhartha Bank Premier League (NPL), Karnali Yaks set a target of 142 runs for Janakpur Bolts.
Winning the toss, Karnali Yaks opted to bat first and scored 141 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their allotted overs.
Skipper Sompal Kami and Arjun Gharti displayed aggressive batting in the final two overs.
Captain Kami scored a brisk 29 runs, while Arjun smashed 33 runs. Gulshan Kumar Jha contributed the highest score of 36 runs.
Opener Dev Khanal was dismissed for just 1 run, while his partner Shikhar Dhawan managed 14 runs before returning to the pavilion.
Chadwick Walton scored 8 runs, and Babar Hayat added 12 runs to the total. Zeeshan Maqsood was dismissed without scoring.
