The Nepali Congress has secured victory in 16 wards, while the CPN (UML) has won 1 rural municipality chair, 1 vice-chair, and 5 wards.
The CPN (Maoist Centre) has claimed 1 rural municipality chair, 1 deputy mayor position, and 6 wards. The Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal has won ward chair positions in two areas of the Madhes Province.
The National Independent Party (Raswapa), the Unified Socialist Party, the Nepal Labour and Peasant Party, and independent candidates have each secured one seat.
