Following an all-party meeting, the vote counting started at 10 AM today.

Narapura Budha, who is now a candidate, is the sister of the late Bhupendra.
Puthauttar Ganga Rural Municipality is considered a stronghold of the Maoist Centre.
In Ward No. 2, after the UML candidate and an independent candidate withdrew their nominations, Jagat Gharti of the Maoist Centre was unanimously elected as the Ward Chairperson.
