KATHMANDU: The results of the by-elections held on Sunday to fill vacant positions in local governments are coming in steadily.
As of now, results from 29 locations have been announced.
Nepali Congress has taken the lead, securing victory in 15 seats, while UML won 7, and Maoist Center secured 5 seats.
Similarly, JSP has won 2 seats, and the CPN (Unified Socialist), RSP, NCP, and independent candidates each have 1 victory.
