90-year-old woman collapses during voting in Mahottari

KATHMANDU: A 90-year-old voter, Manorawati Devi, collapsed while casting her vote during the by-election for Ward Chairperson in Ramgopalpur-2, Mahottari district.

Voting is underway to fill 41 vacant positions across local levels, with reports of enthusiastic participation from voters, according to Election Commissioner Dinesh Kumar Thapaliya.

Polling will continue until 5 PM today.
