NOC hikes petrol & aviation fuel prices

KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased the prices of petrol and aviation fuel, effective from midnight Saturday.

The price of petrol has been raised by Rs 1 per liter, while aviation turbine fuel (domestic) has been increased by Rs 2 per liter.

For international aviation fuel, prices have gone up by Rs 15 per kiloliter in Kathmandu, Rs 34 in Pokhara, and Rs 33 in Bhairahawa.

Following the revision, the price of petrol will now be Rs 160 per liter in Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dipayal, Rs 159 in Surkhet and Dang, and Rs 157.50 in other regions.

Similarly, the price of domestic aviation fuel will be Rs 128 per liter, while international aviation fuel will cost Rs 975 per kiloliter in Kathmandu, Rs 818 in Pokhara, and Rs 802 in Bhairahawa.
