Ramechhap accident update: Another victim identified

KATHMANDU: One more person has been identified among the five people who died in a jeep accident in Gokulganga Rural Municipality-6, Farpu, Ramechhap.

The deceased include two men, two women and a child.

The Kathmandu-bound jeep (Na 1 Ja 7123) was heading to Betali when it met with an accident this afternoon.

Among the deceased, 30-year-old driver Hirabahadur Karki from Sindhuli and Ramchandra Basnet, 45, the Ward Chairperson of Betali, Gokulganga-4, have been identified, according to DSP Pradeep Kumar Singh.

The identities of the remaining three victims are yet to be confirmed.

Three injured passengers are being prepared for transfer to Kathmandu for treatment, police said.
