Partly cloudy in hilly regions; light snowfall expected in Gandaki State

KATHMANDU: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has said that there is a general influence of westerly wind in the country and the weather is partly cloudy in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki States and fair in the rest of the country.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki States this afternoon and fair in the rest of the country.
Similarly, the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki States tonight. Light snowfall is likely to occur at one or two places of the hill hilly and mountainous areas in Gandaki State.
