Deputy PM Singh & Mayor Balen discuss urban issues

KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Urban Development Minister Prakash Man Singh recently held a meeting with Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balen Shah.

The discussion, facilitated by Ward Chairperson Hiralal Tandukar of Kathmandu-11, focused on issues of urban development, waste management, beautification, and coordination between the federal government and the city government.

Chairperson Tandukar informed Makalu Khabar, “The meeting took place at the ministry a few days ago under my initiative. Topics such as waste management, flood relief for affected areas, and traffic congestion were discussed during the talks.”
