Police nabs main accused in murder of Bara Campus principal
A press conference will be held by the police on Thursday to announce the details of the arrest.
KATHMANDU: The police have arrested the main suspect involved in the murder of Hari Bhushan Kushwaha, the principal of Ram Raja Multi-purpose Campus in Bara.
The arrest was made by a team from the Bara District Police Office, who apprehended Surendra Kushwaha, the prime suspect in the murder that occurred on June 14.
A press conference will be held by the police on Thursday to announce the details of the arrest.
According to an official involved in the investigation, the preliminary inquiry suggests that Surendra Kushwaha shot and killed Hari Bhushan Kushwaha over a land dispute.
The incident occurred in the village of Adarsh Kotwal, Ward 3, in Bara, where the victim was shot.
He was immediately taken to the Bayoha Hospital in Birganj for treatment but succumbed to his injuries.
During his treatment, he had stated that Surendra was involved in the attack.
