The police expressed concerns over some media outlets attributing unverified news to the police office or officers involved in investigations, using them as sources.
This is not the first time Kaski Police has cautioned against spreading misinformation on social media platforms like TikTok.
The reminder comes as various reports surface during an ongoing investigation into RSP President Rabi Lamichhane, who is facing allegations of cooperative fraud, organized crime, and money laundering.
