Light rain & snow likely in hilly areas, clear weather elsewhere

KATHMANDU: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has reported a mild influence of the westerly wind across Nepal.

Daytime Weather:
On Thursday, Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki States are likely to see partial cloud cover in the hilly areas, while the rest of the regions will have clear skies.
There is a chance of light rainfall in one or two spots in the hilly regions of these States. Similarly, light snowfall is expected in a few higher hills and mountainous areas.
Nighttime Weather:
Partial cloudiness will persist in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki States at night. One or two spots in the hilly regions of Koshi and Gandaki may experience light rain.
Forecast for the Next 24 Hours:
Light rainfall is anticipated in one or two places in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki States.
Additionally, light snowfall could occur in the higher hills and mountainous regions of Koshi and Gandaki States.
The department has urged caution as these conditions may affect agriculture, health, tourism, mountaineering, road, and air transport.
