Chair Prachanda to become guardian of Nagarakoti couple’s daughters
Prachanda, who visited the family on Monday evening, declared to be the guardian of the couple's two daughters, Garima and Anu Nagarakoti.
KATHMANDU: Chair of CPN (Maoist Centre) and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has announced that he will become the guardian of the two daughters of the Nagarakoti couple, who died after being hit by the vehicle of Prakash Bhujel.
According to Prachanda’s secretariat, he expressed condolences to the victim’s family at their home in Kalapotar, Kageshwori Manohara-2, where 38-year-old Narayan Nagarakoti and his 32-year-old wife, Sanumaya Nagarakoti, lost their lives after being struck by Bhujel’s car.
Prachanda, who visited the family on Monday evening, declared to be the guardian of the couple’s two daughters, Garima and Anu Nagarakoti, and assured that both the party and himself would stand by the grieving family.
The tragic incident occurred on Nov 13, when Bhujel’s vehicle (Ba 19 Cha 2695) collided with a motorcycle (Ba Pr 02-018 Pa 6875) on the Sankhu-Thali road section in Shankarapur Municipality-9.
The couple was seriously injured in the crash and later succumbed to their injuries during treatment.
