KATHMANDU: Four people have gone missing in Turkey’s northern province of Ordu due to heavy snowfall.
On Monday, many areas across the country experienced intense snowfall.
The four individuals were stranded in the Mesudiye district.
According to the governor, the group, identified as Murat and Ferhat Güne, and Hudaverdi and Baris Aslantas, had gone to the Topkaya region for a hunting trip on Saturday.
The group informed their families that they took shelter in a mosque and immediately requested help.
However, due to severe winds, rescue teams have been unable to reach the area.
The snowstorm and strong winds have caused road closures and accidents across Turkey.
