He was arrested on Kartik 25 (Nov 10).
KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress UML lawmaker and former Koshi State Law Minister Lilaballabh Adhikari is set to be released after authorities decided not to file a case against him.
The Kathmandu District Attorney’s Office has announced its decision not to prosecute Adhikari, who was in custody over allegations of human trafficking.

Three individuals who traveled with Adhikari to Japan testified to the police, claiming they paid between Rs 1 million and Rs 1.4 million for the arrangement.
While Adhikari will be released, 11 other suspects involved in the case have been named defendants, and charges have been filed against them in the Kathmandu District Court.
