PM Oli directs CAN to organize Women’s Nepal Premier League

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has directed the Cricket Association Nepal (CAN) to organize a Women’s Nepal Premier League (NPL).

Addressing the unveiling ceremony of the NPL trophy at the Dharahara premises on Monday, PM Oli extended his best wishes for the NPL and urged CAN officials to also organize a Women’s NPL in the future.

He highlighted that cricket has become a dream and pride for the youth of Nepal and is not only a sport but also a symbol of national awareness and discipline.

PM Oli wished all the teams the best of luck and expressed confidence that the NPL will promote Nepal’s tourism industry as well.
