PM Oli highlights NPL’s role in promoting tourism & youth talent

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli stated that the Nepal Premier League (NPL) will directly contribute to promoting Nepal’s tourism and presenting young talent on the international stage.
While unveiling the NPL trophy today at the historic Dharahara, he assured that the government would provide full support and encouragement to the league.
Prime Minister Oli emphasized that the government will always stand by players in the development of the sports sector. He expressed hope that NPL would bring a new dimension to Nepali cricket.
“Cricket is both a dream and a matter of pride for our generation. Through this league, we aim to add a new dimension to Nepali cricket,” said Oli. “The government is with you all. Whether I am in power or not, my interest and commitment remain unchanged. I wish all participating players the best of luck.”
He also expressed hope that this event would highlight the potential of young talent and reinforce the belief that when Nepalis are given the opportunity, they can achieve great things.
