Muglin accident: Identities of 3 dead revealed (update)

KATHMANDU: A truck accident in Chitwan’s Ichchhakamana-6, Naukilo, on the Narayangadh-Muglin road claimed three lives on Sunday evening.

According to DSP Gyan Kumar Mahato, two individuals died on the spot, while an 8-year-old boy passed away during treatment at Bharatpur’s Old Medical College early Monday morning.
The deceased have been identified as Shyam Bajgain (38) and Deepak Dahal (31) from Makwanpurgadhi Rural Municipality-6, and Aarambha Pokhrel (8) from Kalika Municipality-3, Chitwan.
Three others injured in the accident are receiving treatment at hospitals in Bharatpur. The truck driver, Dinesh Pudasaini, 28, from Makwanpurgadhi, is in police custody for investigation.
