Possibility of light rain in some hilly areas today
A few areas in the Terai had light mist.
KATHMANDU: There is a possibility of light rain in some parts of the country today, particularly in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki States.
According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the morning saw partly cloudy skies over the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki States, while the rest of the country experienced mainly clear weather.

During the afternoon, the hilly areas of Koshi and Bagmati States are expected to have partly to generally cloudy skies, with other regions witnessing partly cloudy to mainly clear weather.
Light rain is possible in one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki States.
For the night, the department forecasts partly cloudy skies over the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini States, with the rest of the country remaining partly cloudy to mainly clear.
Light rain is also expected in one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki States.
The current weather conditions are influenced by the normal effect of westerly winds, according to the department.
