Two killed, 3 injured in Muglin-Narayanghat truck accident

KATHMANDU: Two people lost their lives, and three others were injured in a truck accident on the Muglin-Narayanghat road section on Sunday evening.

The victims, identified as Deepak Dahal and Shyam Bajgain from Gadhi Rural Municipality, Makwanpur, succumbed to their injuries, according to the Area Police Office, Muglin.

The accident occurred at Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality-6, Naukilo, when a rice-laden truck (registration number Ba.Pr.03001 Kh 3490) went out of control and crashed.

The injured are undergoing treatment at Bharatpur Hospital, Chitwan, authorities confirmed.
