Son kills father in Rukum West
Bir Bahadur stabbed his father in the stomach with a knife on Sunday evening.
KATHMANDU: A 19-year-old son has murdered his father in Rukum West.
The incident took place in Ghaari Khola, Aathbiskot Municipality-10, where Bir Bahadur KC fatally attacked his 51-year-old father, Darbe KC.
According to Inspector Rishi Pathak of the District Police Office, Bir Bahadur stabbed his father in the stomach with a knife on Sunday evening.
After committing the crime, he fled the scene, and police have launched a manhunt to locate him.
Locals revealed that frequent disputes arose between the father and son, allegedly over the father bringing home a second wife.
Following the attack, Bir Bahadur reportedly fled towards the jungle.
The police have stated that the exact motive behind the murder will be revealed after further investigation.
