Rabi Lamichhane to remain in custody for 15 more days

KATHMANDU: The Kaski District Court has granted permission to keep Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President and former Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane in custody for an additional 15 days.

The decision was made on Sunday by Judge Hemlal Belbase.

Lamichhane was initially held for six days for investigation, followed by an extension of seven days, and then 10 more days for further investigation.

Previously, on Nov 10, he was kept in custody for 13 days.

As his most recent custody period expired on Friday, the court appearance was delayed until Sunday due to Saturday being a public holiday.
