Umesh Shrestha appointed as Nepali Congress treasurer

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has appointed Umesh Shrestha as the party’s treasurer.

Shrestha, a central working committee member elected during the party’s convention, was nominated by Deuba under Article 21, Sub-clause 4 of the Nepali Congress Constitution (2017, with amendments).

The appointment was announced by Nepali Congress Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel.
