Parliament secretary Adhikari resigns

KATHMANDU: The Secretary of the House of Representatives, Suresh Adhikari, has resigned from his position.

Adhikari submitted his resignation to President Ramchandra Paudel, citing health reasons, according to sources.

The resignation has gained significance as it came while Speaker Devaraj Ghimire is on an official visit to Cambodia.

Ghimire had appointed Adhikari as the Secretary of the House of Representatives on July 1.
