Durga Prasai taken to court for extension of custody

KATHMANDU: Durga Prasai, who was arrested after publishing misleading content against Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, has been taken to the Kathmandu District Court.

His five-day detention period, granted for investigation, has ended today.

He is now being taken to court for an extension of custody.

Prasai was arrested on Tuesday from his residence in Bhaktapur.

He is currently under investigation for cyber crimes and various other charges.
