Bodies of young couple found hanging in hotel, suspected suicide

KATHMANDU: Two bodies of a young man and woman were found dead at a hotel in Sinamangal, Kathmandu.

The bodies were discovered on Sunday in a room of Hotel Janmabhumi.

The deceased have been identified as Ramesh Majhi, around 25-26 years old from Sunsari, and a woman of similar age.

According to SP Nawaraj Adhikari, spokesperson for the Kathmandu District Police, the two were found hanging, and initial investigations suggest they may have committed suicide.

The police are continuing to gather details, and the woman’s identity has not yet been revealed.

Further investigation into the cause of the incident is underway.
