Michael Levitt arrives in Nepal for NPL

KATHMANDU: Michael Levitt of Kathmandu Gurkhas has arrived in Nepal for the Nepal Premier League (NPL).

The Gurkhas announced on Sunday that Levitt, a 21-year-old batter, is their first foreign player for the NPL.

Levitt has represented the Netherlands in 8 ODIs and 17 T20Is.

Along with Levitt, other foreign players in the team include Nathan Soter, Michael Levitt, Sun Eskinanzi, Janneman Erasmus, and Dan Douthwaite.

The Gurkhas will play their first match against Chitwan Rhinos on the Dec 2.

In Kathmandu, Karan KC is the marquee player, and Basant Shahi serves as the head coach. The NPL will take place from Nov 30 to Dec 21.
