Gold & silver prices rise on first trading day of the week

KATHMANDU: The price of gold has increased on the first trading day of the week in the Nepali market.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Entrepreneurs’ Federation, the price of gold has risen by Rs 1,700 per tola today (Sunday).

The price of 22-carat gold is currently trading at Rs 167,200 per tola.

On the previous trading day, Friday, the price of gold was Rs 165,500 per tola.

Silver prices have also gone up. According to the Federation, silver is being traded at Rs 1,960 per tola today, compared to Rs 1,940 per tola on Friday.
