Two people died in a car accident near County Parkway and Lake Cedar Parkway in Chantilly on Friday morning, local time.
The deceased have been identified as Suresh KC from Aathbiskot Municipality, Rukum West, and Bibek Subedi from Bardiya.
KC had recently moved to the U.S., while Subedi was an ethical hacker, according to reports.
The driver, 30-year-old Bijay Tamang, and passenger Mohan Shrestha sustained injuries but are in stable condition.
Authorities reported that Tamang was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.
Tamang has been arrested and charged with involuntary manslaughter.
He is being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
Police have confirmed that reckless driving was a contributing factor, and an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
