EC finalizes ballot designs for Dec 1 by-elections
Separate ballots have been designed for each position, following the approved designs.
KATHMANDU: The Election Commission (EC) has finalized the ballot designs for the upcoming local level by-elections scheduled for Sunday, Dec 1 (Mangsir 16).
According to the commission, the ballots have been prepared based on the number of candidates, including election symbols allotted to political parties and independent candidates.
Separate ballots have been designed for each position, following the approved designs.
Samples of these ballots have been uploaded to the commission’s website for public reference and use in the respective local units and wards holding the by-elections.
The commission has urged political parties and candidates to utilize these sample ballots for campaign purposes and voter education initiatives.
It also called for necessary measures to ensure active voter participation in the by-elections.
