PM Oli: Deception under the guise of populism

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has stated that what is currently happening under the name of populism is actually deception.
Addressing a gathering at a “Jagarana Sabha” (Awakening Assembly) in Durbar Marg on Friday, he emphasized that this is not populism but deceit, adding, “This is not populism; this is deception. True populism does not work this way.”
He also mentioned that his government has the right policies to govern the country.
He urged leaders and party workers to unite and move forward together.
Oli clarified that he has no investments in Cambodia’s telecom sector.
He further stated that no one should resort to casting blame on others for their own misdeeds.
The Prime Minister reaffirmed that his government is committed to peace, not war, and added that the accusations against him are not worth responding to.
