CG Motors recognized as top taxpayer

KATHMANDU: The Internal Revenue Office of Lalitpur has honored CG Motors Pvt. Ltd. as the company that paid the highest income tax.
The recognition took place on Friday during a program organized by the Revenue Office on the occasion of National Tax Day.
According to the Internal Revenue Office, CG Motors was acknowledged for submitting the highest income tax based on the financial statements of fiscal year 2079/080 among taxpayers who had registered their business permanent account numbers and conducted transactions.
Navaraj Panthi, the Chief Tax Officer at the Internal Revenue Office, presented the honor to Nirvana Chaudhary, the Managing Director of Chaudhary Group, with a scarf and a certificate.
Expressing happiness about the recognition, Chaudhary wished for continued business success in the coming years.
He also stated that his group is proud to contribute two percent of the country’s total government revenue, affirming that Chaudhary Group is committed to furthering the nation’s physical and social development.
