KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML’s Awakening Rally began this morning from Bhadrakali, Kathmandu.
The rally is set to traverse through Shahid Gate, Sundhara, Bir Hospital, and Jamal, culminating at Durbar Marg, where the main assembly will take place.
UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli and other party leaders are scheduled to address the gathering. According to the plan, Chairperson Oli will arrive at the venue at 1:30 PM.
The rally is being led by Kailash Dhungel, Chairperson of the UML Bagmati State Committee.
The responsibility for organizing the event had initially been assigned to UML Standing Committee Member and Bagmati State In-charge Dr. Rajan Bhattarai.
However, as Dr. Bhattarai is currently abroad for party-related duties, Dhungel has taken charge.
The rally features music, banners, and enthusiastic participation from party leaders, cadres, supporters, and well-wishers.
UML aims to gather over 100,000 attendees for today’s program.
