UML awakening rally kicks off

KATHMANDU The CPN-UML has finalized preparations for an Awakening Rally set to take place today at Durbar Marg, Kathmandu.

The rally will begin shortly from Bhadrakali and proceed to Durbar Marg, where it will transform into a mass gathering.

The party aims to draw over 100,000 participants from Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, and surrounding districts.

Organized by the district committees of these areas, the event will feature speeches by UML Chairperson and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, along with other senior leaders.

According to Rajendra Gautam, head of the UML’s publicity department, the rally is being held to promote national unity and harmony.
