Speaker Devraj Ghimire to attend 11th IPTP conference in Cambodia

KATHMANDU: Speaker of the House, Devraj Ghimire, is departing for Cambodia today to participate in the 11th International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace (IPTP) conference.

The conference is scheduled to take place in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, from Nov 23 to 26 (Mangsir 8 to 10 in the Nepali calendar).

Following his participation, Speaker Ghimire will return to Nepal on Nov 27 (Mangsir 11).

Organized by the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace since 2017, the conference aims to foster interaction among parliamentarians worldwide.

This year, over 100 representatives from various countries are expected to attend.
