3 killed, 1 injured in Morang motorcycle collision
According to police, Dhimal and Gurung were declared dead upon arrival at the hospitals, while Limbu succumbed to injuries during treatment.
KATHMANDU: Three people lost their lives, and one sustained serious injuries in a motorcycle collision at Urlabari Municipality-3, Naya Mangalbare, Morang.
The deceased have been identified as Deepak Dhimal (42) of Pathri-Shanishchare Municipality-5, Kishor Gurung (28) of Kanepokhari Rural Municipality-4, Ramailo, and Amrit Limbu (28) of the same area.
Following the accident, Dhimal was rushed to Araniko Hospital in Urlabari, Gurung to Madan Bhandari Hospital and Trauma Center, and Limbu to B&C Hospital in Jhapa.
According to police, Dhimal and Gurung were declared dead upon arrival at the hospitals, while Limbu succumbed to injuries during treatment.
The accident occurred when motorcycle Province 1-02-050 Pa 8406 attempted to overtake another vehicle and collided with an oncoming motorcycle, State 1-02-043 Pa 9226, as per eyewitness accounts.
The critically injured Bishnu Dhimal (30), a resident of Pathari-Shanishchare-5, is undergoing treatment at B&C Hospital, police confirmed.
