KATHMANDU: The Pathibhara region in Taplejung has experienced its first snowfall of the season.
The area has been witnessing a drop in temperature in recent days, and light snowfall began early this morning, according to the Pathibhara Area Development Committee.
While the snowfall has increased the chill, it is expected to attract more tourists and pilgrims to the region, as the snow-covered landscape draws visitors.
Executive Director of the committee, Prajin Hangbang, mentioned that the number of visitors is expected to rise due to the snowfall.
Pathibhara Temple, located at an altitude of 3,794 meters, is a significant religious and tourist destination.
